About CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin

The classic GH-axis pairing, pre-combined 1:1.

Supplied as

5 / 5 mg per vial, as a lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial with a crimped cap. The lot number on the label matches the certificate of analysis in the COA library.

Storage and handling

Store lyophilized powder frozen (−20 °C) or refrigerated, sealed and away from light. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated (2–8 °C).

Handle in a laboratory setting using appropriate protective equipment. Consult the certificate of analysis and safety data for lot-specific information.

Research summary

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin is a single lyophilized vial containing 5 mg of CJC-1295 without DAC (modified GRF 1-29, a GHRH analogue) and 5 mg of ipamorelin (a ghrelin-receptor agonist). The two peptides act on different receptors on the same pituitary cells, and studies combining GHRH with GH-releasing peptides have reported synergistic growth hormone (GH) release1. No published study has tested this exact combination.

What's in the vial

  • CJC-1295 without DAC, 5 mg: the tetrasubstituted GHRH(1-29) amide that forms the backbone of CJC-12952, without the albumin-binding lysine. A preparation sold under the CJC-1295 name and analyzed by a doping-control laboratory proved to be this 29-residue peptide3.
  • Ipamorelin, 5 mg: a pentapeptide agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor that, in swine, released GH without raising ACTH or cortisol beyond GHRH-stimulated levels4.

Why a GHRH analogue and a ghrelin-receptor agonist are studied together

GHRH acts through its own G protein-coupled receptor, found predominantly in the anterior pituitary and signaling through cyclic AMP5. GH secretagogues act through a separate receptor, GHS-R, cloned in 19966. In cells engineered to express the human GHRH receptor, the secretagogue GHRP-2 did not act through it7.

Because the receptors differ, their effects can exceed the sum of each alone. In healthy men, submaximal amounts of a GH-releasing hexapeptide given with GHRH released GH synergistically1, and the same was later shown for ghrelin itself with GHRH8. The link runs both ways: blocking endogenous GHRH with an antagonist removed most of the GH response to GHRP-6 in men9. These studies used native GHRH, ghrelin and GHRP-6 or similar peptides, not CJC-1295 or ipamorelin.

What has and has not been studied

Because the vial holds two peptides, its certificate should confirm both identities. Every Peptides Only lot ships with a lot-matched certificate of analysis (HPLC purity and mass-spec identity) from an independent lab, published at our COA library. For the difference between the two CJC-1295 forms, see CJC-1295 with DAC vs without DAC.

  • Ipamorelin alone has human pharmacokinetic data: a terminal half-life of about 2 hours and a single GH peak after intravenous infusion in healthy men10.
  • The human studies published under the CJC-1295 name used the long-acting DAC compound, not the version in this vial11.
  • No published study has tested CJC-1295 without DAC together with ipamorelin, in a 1:1 ratio or any other. The case for the pairing rests on the receptor and synergy research above.

CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin FAQ

Does this blend use CJC-1295 with DAC or without DAC?

Without DAC. The CJC-1295 in this vial is the 29-residue modified GRF (1-29) peptide; the long-acting version is sold separately as CJC-1295 with DAC.

Has the CJC-1295 and ipamorelin combination been studied?

Not as a combination. Each component has its own literature, and GHRH-plus-secretagogue synergy has been shown with other peptides1,8, but no published study tests this pair.

Is the blend different from the two peptides bought separately?

It contains the same two peptides, pre-combined at a fixed 1:1 ratio by mass in one vial. Both are also available on their own as CJC-1295 without DAC and ipamorelin.

Is CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin FDA-approved?

No. Neither component is an approved medicine, and the blend is supplied for laboratory research only.
