About Wolverine Blend

BPC-157 and TB-500 combined 1:1 for tissue-repair research.

Supplied as

20 mg per vial, as a lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial with a crimped cap. The lot number on the label matches the certificate of analysis in the COA library.

Storage and handling

Store lyophilized powder frozen (−20 °C) or refrigerated, sealed and away from light. Once reconstituted, keep refrigerated (2–8 °C).

Handle in a laboratory setting using appropriate protective equipment. Consult the certificate of analysis and safety data for lot-specific information.

Research summary

Wolverine Blend is a single lyophilized vial that combines BPC-157 and TB-500 in a 1:1 ratio, 20 mg in total. It pairs two of the most-studied peptides in tissue-repair research, which have been examined in overlapping injury models through different proposed mechanisms. No published study has tested this exact pre-mixed blend.

What is in the vial?

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide whose sequence is a partial sequence of a protein found in human gastric juice1. TB-500 is the seven-amino-acid, N-terminally acetylated 17-23 fragment of thymosin beta-4, Ac-LKKTETQ2. The two are unrelated in structure and origin; the blend supplies both in one vial, in equal amounts by mass. Every lot ships with a lot-matched certificate of analysis from an independent lab, published in the certificate library.

Why BPC-157 and TB-500 are studied together

Each peptide has been linked, in separate studies, to cell migration and new blood-vessel formation, two processes central to tendon and soft-tissue repair models, but by different routes. BPC-157 increased tendon fibroblast migration through FAK-paxillin signaling1 and activated VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS signaling in endothelial cells3. The actin-binding motif that TB-500 reproduces was found to be essential for thymosin beta-4's angiogenic activity and matched the full protein in endothelial migration assays4.

The research behind each component

Each component has its own preclinical record:

  • BPC-157: in rats with transected Achilles tendons it was associated with higher load to failure, better functional scores and more complete repair than controls5, and a 2019 review found consistently positive results across rodent tendon, ligament and muscle models6.
  • TB-500: the synthetic peptide LKKTETQ promoted dermal wound repair in aged mice comparably to full-length thymosin beta-47.

What has been tested in combination

One study has given the two peptides together. In a 2026 rat Achilles tendon repair experiment with four groups of eight (control, BPC-157, TB-500 and both), TB-500 alone produced a significant biomechanical advantage and better histology scores, BPC-157 alone showed numerically better scores that did not reach significance, and the combination did not outperform either peptide alone8. The authors suggested the two may converge on shared downstream pathways, a hypothesis they noted still needs testing8.

Limitations of the evidence

No published study has tested the Wolverine Blend or any pre-mixed 1:1 BPC-157 and TB-500 formulation, and there are no published data on how the two peptides behave together in one vial over time. No controlled human study of the combination has been published, and human data for BPC-157 alone consist of three small uncontrolled studies9. For a side-by-side of the components, see BPC-157 vs TB-500.

Wolverine Blend FAQ

Has the Wolverine Blend been studied?

Not as a product. No published study tests this exact pre-mixed blend. The closest is a 2026 rat Achilles tendon study that gave both peptides together and found no improvement over either alone8.

What ratio of BPC-157 to TB-500 does Wolverine Blend contain?

The vial contains the two peptides in a 1:1 ratio by mass, 20 mg in total, as a lyophilized powder. The ratio is a product specification, not a value taken from a published study.

How does Wolverine Blend differ from the GLOW and KLOW blends?

Wolverine contains only BPC-157 and TB-500. The GLOW Blend adds GHK-Cu, and the KLOW Blend adds GHK-Cu and KPV. The GLOW vs KLOW vs Wolverine article compares all three.

Are BPC-157 and TB-500 prohibited in sport?

Yes. The World Anti-Doping Agency's 2026 Prohibited List names BPC-157 in class S0 (non-approved substances) and thymosin beta-4 and its derivatives, such as TB-500, in class S2. Both classes are prohibited at all times.
